Dewey Weber, Harold “Iggy Model”. 1967, in immaculate original condition. You’ll never see another one like it, never seen water. Original Iggy Model fin, glass, designed and built by Iggy. This stick has been indoors it’s whole life and has all the tell tall signs of it. Wonder bolt fin and box. Incredible design by Harold, he was always that way anyway, always ahead of the game, one of the best shapers to ever establish himself in southern California for that matter in the world. Team rider for Weber along with Donald Takayama, Randy Rarick and Pat Magee, to name a few- one hell of a surf team. Not one blemish – new old stock.
Beautiful radical rails – has all the earmarks of a ’68. Iggy took DT. Under his wing at 15 yrs. old. Showed him the ropes, DT took off with it. The outline and shape of this board is like no other. Harold was something else with his shaping ability. Just certain things he did were phenomenal. His shaping abilities also involved the volume he put out is incredible. For instance, mowing down 75 blanks a day. How is that for being incredible, which involved the Performers, and other models that D.W. built. He was the #1 shaper so his days were pretty heavy.
Harold passed on in the 90’s. I believe of a heart attack on a stand up paddle board.
